Thanks Allan for the great exercise routine. Nothing like doing the stair-stepper for a couple of hours. I am still hobbling around but should be good to go again next weekend. Hopefully a little further west and some south facing slopes will do the trick.

Where were you thinking Tom?

Nowhere in mind really. I have been out once in the last 45 days and just want to get out one more time before the season is over. Something steep and nasty with a little less snow sounds good, Then again so does some rolling hills. I won't be at full speed and my little pup wears out fast in the deep stuff so the less snow the better.

At his age, SSG won't go if I'm not there to take care of him, so just let me know where and when and I'll be there, snowshoes and all. Can't be too prepared when you're as old as I am. :wink:

I will bring the snow shoes as well, but hope not to use them. Now if I could only find a reliable gun as light as yours. I think mine has 3lbs on you U/O.

Ya she takes after me, eh....... her mom. She thinks she's tough, even drives a jeep.

Sounds like you fellers have healed up and need me to teach ya'll another lesson in where not to find birds, this is usually the case and part two of my evil plan, give them a little taste and then really make em hurt in round two. So what are we thinking? Vertical Death march?

I think we should drive west until we get tired of driving. Find the tallest and steepest hill with a south facing slope and start the vertical climb to the highest point.

We can then take pictures and try to find our way back down without falling and getting killed.

Who is in?

Oh, and if we find birds, it will be a bonus

PS. I have a report that there is only a foot of snow at my cabin. Much better than the 30 inches or so we were in this past weekend.
